In the entire year of 2013, the CJF distributed almost $20,000 to our friends and family in their times of need. As of October 1, 2014, we have already distributed over $25,000 in aid. What this means is that the message of the CJF is spreading, and along with that, the requests for assistance are increasing. So, WE NEED YOUR HELP! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will be holding a facility-wide contest through the month of November to raise money for the CJF. Each facility will be provided with their very own piggy to personalize as they wish. Both FP employees and facility staff are encouraged to participate. This contest is called “Feed the Pig!” The facility who raises the largest amount of funds will receive a $250 Wal-Mart gift card. Official details will be released soon.

We would like to give a shout out to the staff at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community in Laurens, SC, for their generous donations recently. They held both a Penny Drive and a potato hash sale and donated proceeds to the CJF.  What a wonderful way to get involved and raise awareness!!  We truly appreciate your efforts!  We would love to see more great fundraising ideas like these.  If you would like to submit an idea or would like to host one yourself, please email your thoughts to
